Rhiannon is a PhD candidate studying cancer and haematology at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne, Australia.
In 2015 Rhiannon completed her Bachelor of Science with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Forensic biology at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. In 2016 Rhiannon moved to Melbourne, Australia to study at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). She completed her honours degree at the University of Melbourne, receiving a Bachelor of Science (Degree with honours) with a H1 (first class). In 2017 Rhiannon started her PhD at WEHI in the divisions of Structural Biology, Cancer & Haematology and Molecular Medicine.
Outside of the lab Rhiannon is passionate about communicating Science and advocating for women in STEMM. She is also a coffee and cheese fanatic and is obsessed with dogs.
